Your drink entries are stored on this device and additionally synced with your other devices via your personal iCloud account. Syncing runs exclusively through Apple's iCloud in your private area — we operate no server of our own, have no access to this data and create no user account with us. If no iCloud account is signed in, the entries stay purely local. Your daily goal, display name, profile picture and other settings remain local to this device.

To choose your profile picture, the app uses Apple's built-in Photos picker. It runs separately from the app and only gives it access to the picture you select, not your entire photo library. No separate permission request is required for this.

If you enable Apple Health syncing, the app writes your logged drinks as water intake to Apple Health. With Premium active, your drinks' calories and caffeine content are also synced. The app never reads any data from Apple Health, and this feature is off by default.

If you set the daily goal to “Automatic”, the app uses the age, weight, height and daily activity you enter solely for the calculation on this device. They are not transmitted. On request the app additionally obtains your approximate location via Location Services in order to determine the place name and current temperature – both are requested from Apple (reverse geocoding and Apple Weather) and are not stored permanently. Granting access is voluntary and can be revoked at any time in the iOS settings; without it you can enter the temperature yourself or leave the field empty and have the calculation run without a temperature.

The graphical analytics (amount, calories, caffeine by day, week, month, and year) are calculated entirely on-device from your stored entries. Where available, the calorie and caffeine values stored per drink come from the Ciqual nutritional table published by ANSES (the French food safety agency) and from EUFIC (European Food Information Council); these are reference values for a typical preparation, not exact figures for every brand or recipe.

If you use the Apple Watch, iPhone and watch exchange only what is needed directly between them – today's progress, your daily goal and newly logged drinks. The watch keeps no data store of its own. For the Home Screen widgets the app writes a snapshot of your daily progress to a shared area on this device so the widget can display it. Neither leaves your device or devices.

Reminders are local notifications: they are scheduled and delivered on the device, and no data is sent for them.

The Premium purchase is handled entirely by Apple. All the app receives from Apple is whether a valid entitlement exists – no payment details. We do not learn who bought anything.

No data is shared with third parties, no ads are shown, and no usage behavior is collected for analytics purposes.

Using “Delete All Data” in the account settings you can irreversibly remove all stored data at any time — including display name and profile picture. Deleted entries are also removed from your iCloud sync and thus from your other devices.
